A medium grade polishing compound for cutting through moderate swirling and paint defects in clear coated paint finishes. Here at the Detailing Academy, we have developed our Pro Series Line up to provide paint correction for a range of paint types and conditions. Our Medium Cut No:23 Pro Compound is the result of our over 3 years of development, creating a compound with enough cut and finish range to work as an ultimate one-step paint correction when coupled with medium pads or let you range up to heavy paint correction when coupled with cutting pads. Nine out of ten times, we find ourselves reaching for this product on cars that we see through the doors here at the Academy – it is perfectly suited to machine polishing paint correction tasks.  

How-To Use Medium Polishing Compound No:23


Step 1

Shake well before use.

Step 2

Ensure the surface is clean, cool and free from bonded contaminants before you begin.

Step 3

Combine with a foam cutting pad for best results.

Step 4

Always prime pad with pad lubricant (Pad Prime) before first use.

Step 5

Apply 2-4 small pea-sized amounts of polish to the pad.

Step 6

Work an area of paintwork approx 12" x 12" at a time.

Step 7

Wipe residue away immediately after each set.

Step 8

Do not leave to cure on the surface.

Step 9

Avoid contact with unpainted trim or rubber.
